Yamanashi Koju Plum is a late-maturing variety which is deiscovered by Mr.Toshihiro Komatsu, a paech farmer in Minami Alps. Yamanashi Prefecture and is grown exclusively in the ared. It is harvested a month later than Kiyou Plum and has similar apperance to it, with a less acidic body, meaning a high sweetness. It is also intense in flavor with flesh that is super moisy and juicy. It is recommended to peel off the skin before eating which may be sour in taste.
